The Badri family lives in isolation in Lebanon’s mountains. When the government inaugurates a landfill outside their fence, everything they escaped catches up with them.

COSTA BRAVA, LEBANON is the acclaimed debut feature of rising talent Mounia Akl, whose Award-winning short film SUBMARINE (2016) was selected in Cannes and Toronto. The project won Malmö Arab Film Festival's Feature development Award, as well as development grants at Sundance, Cannes Cinefondation, Torino Film Lab etc.
